What information must be included in a PIF?

The standard PIF must contain at least 16 sections:

  1. Basic product details (name, function, format, manufacturer/importer info)

  2. TFDA product registration certificate

  3. Full ingredient list (INCI names and percentages)

  4. Product labeling and packaging design

  5. GMP certification or declaration

  6. Manufacturing process description

  7. Usage instructions and target users

  8. Adverse event records

  9. Ingredient physical and chemical properties

  10. Toxicological profiles of each ingredient

  11. Stability test results

  12. Microbial testing report

  13. Preservative efficacy test results

  14. Evidence supporting claimed product efficacy

  15. Packaging safety and compatibility data

  16. Final safety assessment signed by a qualified Safety Assessor
