What information must be included in a PIF?
The standard PIF must contain at least 16 sections.
How long must the PIF be kept? Does it need to be submitted online?
From the day following the product’s final date of sale, the documentation must be retained for at least five years for inspection by the competent authorities.
Do different packaging sizes require separate PIFs?
If the formula, intended use, and labeling are identical across all sizes, a single PIF is sufficient. You can list multiple packaging sizes under the same file.
